OpenVPN¶

For outside access to the ACSA network, we provide OpenVPN service (running in Synology NAS).

Usage¶

download acsa-synology.ovpn
install openvpn client and import the .ovpn file
login in using LDAP account/password (The same username/password on all servers)

Trouble Shooting¶

Cannot connect to OpenVPN: User authentication failed

Synology OpenVPN now uses LDAP authentication.

Due to the migration, you need to reset your LDAP password (it does not have to be different - you can use the same password as before for passwd) before you can connect to OpenVPN.

If you encounter the following problem, ask an admin to reset your LDAP password.
