Linux 101 by USTC Linux User Group is a good Linux tutorial for beginners.

We recommend that system administrators complete chapters 3-6 as a starting point.

Our documentation is split into these sections:

  • The User section includes user guides and our FAQ.
  • The Admin section includes guides for system administrators.

  • Other sections may not be frequently consulted but may be occasionally helpful.

    For example, these include details on how services are set up and configured. They're not normally touched once up and running, but in case things need to be set up anew, such details will render useful.

In all cases, you're encouraged to take advantage of the "search" feature.
